THE ONE DROP MISSION

Historically, the One-Drop Rule was used to segregate people of color with Black ancestry in the United States. We are reclaiming the notion and embracing our strength as a collective. 

What once was used to divide us now brings us together. However our artists identify—Black, Brown, Latinx, Native, Indigenous, BIPOC—we have partnered as a collective to curate an event we hope will bring voices from the margins into the spotlight and showcase the power of unity.

This event is created and curated BY MEMBERS OF THE BIPOC COMMUNITY and designed to engage ALL PEOPLE. Come one, come all!

A portion of all sold artwork will be donated to Refuge Place Indy. An organization dedicated to helping reduce homelessness in Indianapolis and surrounding areas.
